Robert Abraham has lived and practiced law in and around Daytona Beach, Florida since graduating from the Yale Law School in 1965. Although he feels almost like a native Floridian, this has not diminished his enthusiasm as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was born and grew up in Aliquippa, PA, near Pittsburgh. He attended the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a B.A. degree in 1960 and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army through the R.O.T.C. program. Before attending law school, he served two years on active duty, completing the Officers´┐Ż Infantry School at Ft. Benning, GA, and the Military Intelligence School at Ft. Holabird, MD. His permanent duty station was Ft. Bragg, NC.

Law Practice

Robert Abraham has practiced general civil law in Daytona Beach and East Central Florida for more than four decades. He currently concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and business law, real estate law, and wills, trusts and probate. He maintains an AV Preeminent Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest peer review rating available. Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings are based on the confidential opinions of lawyers and members of the judiciary who provide reviews of lawyers about whom they have professional knowledge.

Business Experience

During the course of his legal practice, Robert Abraham has acquired business experience by having participated in the organization of commercial banks and a bank holding company, by having served as chairman of the board of directors and general counsel of a commercial bank, by having served as a member of the board of directors of other commercial banks, by having served as chief executive officer and general counsel for a bank holding company with multiple banking offices throughout Central Florida, by having served as a director, corporate secretary and general counsel of a retail furniture company with numerous stores throughout Central Florida, and by having handled numerous acquisitions, mergers, and other business transactions for clients. His practice includes representation of business entities and individuals in a variety of business-related matters, including business and real estate transactions, formation of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, joint ventures, and other types of entities, review or preparation of contracts and other legal documents, preparation of wills, living wills, durable powers of attorney, trusts, and other documents related to life and estate planning, and advice and preparation of documents related to asset protection.
